teen love poem

and so it goes
i loved a woman
for i was a gaunt, grave councillor
i hold your heart
the hypocritic days
suddenly, out of dark and leafy ways
did you ever see an alligator
in halls of sleep you wandered by
i expect you
by the rude bridge
