sex poem

in new york harbor
the darkness rolls upward
stuff of the moon
stand here by my side
sweet splendor
perhaps it is no matter that you died
i saw the archangels in my apple-tree last night
mysterious night
i stood
for i was a gaunt, grave councillor
royal feast was done
