teen poems

from song and dream for ever gone
the meadow was creeping
at midnight
tell me not
arched the flood
there was never a sound beside the wood but one
by the rude bridge
the ancient songs
it was a tall young oysterman
have you not heard
in new york harbor
so fallen
here falls no light
for these white arms about my neck
