teen poem

i stood
in and of itself
happiness
rising moon has hid the stars
she burst fierce wine
give me hunger
the old songs
along a river-side
now while my lips are living
leave the lovely words unsaid
here falls no light
when you come tonight
when freedom from her mountain height
