i loathed you
this is the arsenal
he came and took me by the hand
with her hair flaying wildly
to some the fat gods
have you not heard
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
pharaoh, king of egypt's land
under dusky laurel leaf
skies they were ashen and sober
