memorial poem

in an old chamber softly lit
weak-winged is song
here lies a most beautiful lady
one by one, like leaves from a tree
why do you always stand there shivering
it tells of good old times
now while my lips are living
i stood by the open casement
with lips blood red and heart of stone
gone are the three, those sisters rare
sad are they who know not love
