math poem

often is it not so?
to the passionate lover
all quiet along the potomac
i shake my hair in the wind of morning
in new york harbor
i hold your heart
i fill this cup
royal feast was done
let me be sad
now while my lips are living
to clothe the fiery thought
simplicity
