mom poem

all those treasures that lie
a thousand silent years ago
that year
when i returned at sunset
why are the things that have no death
into the silent land
she knows a cheap release
there by the window in the old house
when i go back to earth
the dawn was apple-green
i am the wind that wavers
gone are the three, those sisters rare
