fall poetry

a sky that has never known sun, moon or stars
often i think of the beautiful town
do i like it
all within and all without me
she limps with halting painful pace
she knows a cheap release
stuff of the moon
world that changes under my hand
there are gains for all our losses
the air is like a butterfly
your body's motion is like music
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
you are clear
short and sweet, and we've come to the end of it
