fall poetry

he's gone
i've won the race
braided and woven
a look is but a ray
i have known the silence of the stars and of the sea
of sun nor stars
she limps with halting painful pace
and breaketh bread no more
looking beyond
i flung my soul to the air like a falcon flying
thoughts through my head
