erotic poem

as evening falls
pharaoh, king of egypt's land
stand here by my side
the arches of the red bridge
let us express our baser passions
but i cannot read you now
for truth, for love
sad are they who know not love
once this soft turf
i heard the wind all day
a pen of steel
