son poem

i am fevered
you are clear
when i was broke in london
dear wife
to the passionate lover
sweet splendor
i shake my hair in the wind of morning
three years ago today
the endless, foolish merriment of stars
i fill this cup
she has a clear, wind-sheltered loveliness
take my bracelets
