pumpkin poem

so lost
had he and i but met
the meadow was creeping
which keeps
bring me soft song
it tells of good old times
look back with longing eyes and know that i will follow
under the harvest moon
when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
i saw god. do you doubt it?
i've won the race
quietly, with reverance, in awe
