religious poem

there was never a sound beside the wood but one
under the harvest moon
when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
in your flight
be not angry with me
the agony of having too much power
i have cast the world
brother, i am fire
what shall we do now
old wine to drink
my sorrow, when she's here with me
