math poem

stand here by my side
rising moon has hid the stars
sad are they who know not love
there was a strangeness on your lips
mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam
into the silent land
the endless, foolish merriment of stars
when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
noises that strive to tear
these be
renew the vision of delight
