the darkness
he came and took me by the hand
through the broad earth's aching breast
a bird sang
have you not heard
and with the humming bird
weak-winged is song
last midnight
death's nobility again
with joy and wonder
the air is like a butterfly
one with you
when i returned at sunset
which keeps
