memorial poem

in may
by the rude bridge
white foam flower, red flame flower
into the silent land
as it
could we but know
mysterious night
i fill this cup
the dawn was apple-green
there is an hour of peaceful rest
sun stepped down from his golden throne
with her hair flaying wildly
