poetry

in mournful numbers
one by one, like leaves from a tree
a poet, having taken the bridle off his tongue
since i have felt the sense of death
the hypocritic days
weak-winged is song
i am old and blind
if i should die, think only this of me
this is the ship of pearl
a mile behind
