poetry for kid

in mournful numbers
splendid and terrible your love
bring me soft song
the darkness
with her hair flaying wildly
muffled drum's sad roll has beat
let me be sad
at dawn, he said
i am old and blind
made up of loveliness alone
for i was a gaunt, grave councillor
and breaketh bread no more
have you heard
