baby shower poem

when the veil from the eyes is lifted
among the mountains i wandered
my mother twines me roses wet with dew
three days i heard them grieve when i lay dead
i have to say good-night
which i wish to remark
shines the last age, the next with hope is seen
i think it just splendid
i wonder where you live
