free poem

sleep sweetly in your humble graves
better than granite
when you come tonight
had he and i but met
there are three ways in which men take
long has the summer sunlight shone
a thousand silent years ago
when the wind works against us in the dark
in all things not spoken of
soft as the bed in the earth
