thou unrelenting past
i was a goddess ere the marble found me
i am dying
and how could you dream of meeting
they in the darkness gather and ask
we lay
these be
beautiful, tragical faces
see the tentative
a look is but a ray
rose and amber was the sunset on the river
desolate and lone
we who stood
