wedding poetry

do not grieve that it is over
there was a time in former years
the old west, the old time
our pleasant moments fly
listen
day is done
i despise my friends more than you
do i like it
desolate and lone
so fallen
who loves the rain
of sun nor stars
above them all, looking down
