Retired Navy Capt. Earl Buckwalter, 87, of Austin, Texas, and formerly of Annapolis, died Aug. 6. Capt. Buckwalter was born Oct. 1, 1920, in West Chester, Pa., to the late Charles and Katherine Buckwalter. He attended West Chester High School and graduated from the Naval Academy in 1943.
