thank you poem

in the cloud-gray mornings
out of the deep and the dark
in your flight
these hearts were woven of human joys and cares
stuff of the moon
some of the hurts you have cured
the light withdrawn
once this soft turf
often i think of the beautiful town
when you come tonight
