spanish poem

short and sweet, and we've come to the end of it
here lies a most beautiful lady
when the hours of day are numbered
beneath the warrior's helm
muffled drum's sad roll has beat
on and on
the fragrance came
the light withdrawn
day is done
i am old and blind
