wedding poem

but i cannot read you now
i go my way complacently
as evening falls
in the sphere
high-born race
have we no shame?
wrap the earth in cloudy weather
made up of loveliness alone
you are clear
be patient, life, when love is at the gate
if i should die, think only this of me
day is done
