christian poetry

i make my shroud, but no one knows
when night drifts along the streets of the city
in the dark and peace of my final bed
night is dark, and the winter winds
i know not where
gone are the three, those sisters rare
along the banks
sun stepped down from his golden throne
there are three ways in which men take
i said, i have shut my heart
