child poem

this ancient silver bowl of mine
one with you
happiness
in their ragged regimentals
though love repine, and reason chafe
along the banks
i loved a woman
all quiet along the potomac
from our hidden places
brother, i am fire
i expect you
rising moon has hid the stars
