break up poem

i saw him once before
as a naked man i go
high walls and huge
burly, dozing humble-bee
when i was a boy at college
the light withdrawn
i am in love with high far-seeing places
give me
simply speaking
in the dark and peace of my final bed
see the tentative
have you not heard
perhaps
the arches of the red bridge
