inspirational poem

a bird sang
high-born race
in his guarded tent
stand here by my side
i've won the race
once this soft turf
let me move slowly through the street
she heard the children playing in the sun
sing again the song you sung
i was a goddess ere the marble found me
afraid no more, i say
i loathed you
i expect you
