fall poem

they ask me where i've been
for then without
beneath the warrior's helm
the earth keeps some vibration going
when you come tonight
quietly, with reverance, in awe
master of human destinies am i
braided and woven
do i like it
are you alive?
desolate and lone
i loved a woman
