sad poetry

as a naked man i go
i reside at table mountain
god
mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam
i am singing to you
over the river, on the hill
the agony of having too much power
my son is dead and i am going blind
renew the vision of delight
beneath the warrior's helm
stay no more
over the river they beckon to me
gloom
i loved a woman
