romantic love poem

i stand in the cold gray weather
take my bracelets
there were three in the meadow by the brook
a gleam of gold in gloom and gray
as a white candle
last midnight
sun and wind and beat of sea
weak-winged is song
the saddest of the year
will you glimmer on the sea?
