poetry

do you remember
the single clenched fist lifted and ready
behold me, in my chiffon, gauze and tinsel
when i was a boy at college
by the rude bridge
the darkness rolls upward
bring me soft song
a thin gray shadow on the edge of thought
i stood
gloom
