teacher poem

the long resounding marble corridors
moonlight deep and tender
by the rude bridge
their beautiful hair
sun stepped down from his golden throne
in may
do i like it
in halls of sleep you wandered by
let a joy keep you
when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
a mile behind
listen
