modern poetry

all quiet along the potomac
the ships are lying in the bay
pharaoh, king of egypt's land
why are the things that have no death
in mournful numbers
let a joy keep you
lo! 'tis a gala night
a look is but a ray
i shake my hair in the wind of morning
i am singing to you
