sister poem

at midnight
rising moon has hid the stars
when the wind works against us in the dark
full of tears
you are clear
hang no wreath
i am singing to you
i am weary of being bitter and weary of being wise
i flung my soul to the air like a falcon flying
arched the flood
little gate was reached at last
