poetry

a sky that has never known sun, moon or stars
along a river-side
braided and woven
all down the years
mysterious night
a life on the ocean wave
she has a clear, wind-sheltered loveliness
the poets tell
calm as that second summer
she said
high-born race
hang no wreath
