lost love poem

i loved a woman
those on the top say they know you, earth-they are liars
though i am little as all little things
in your flight
for truth, for love
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
the saddest of the year
beautiful
who loves the rain
in the sphere
skies they were ashen and sober
sweet and strong
