lost love poem

i've won the race
when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
they ask me where i've been
the light withdrawn
she has a clear, wind-sheltered loveliness
when you come tonight
and so it goes
weak-winged is song
they threw a stone, you threw a stone
as a naked man i go
