lyric poem

with joy and wonder
passing through huddled and ugly walls
i know what you're going to say
do you think, my boy, when i put my arms around you
i wonder where you live
risen from the dead
this is the ship of pearl
i love the old melodious lays
desolate and lone
simplicity
