elements of poetry

are you alive?
i am a woman
i love my life, but not too well
i had a dream and i awoke with it
she heard the children playing in the sun
which keeps
mysterious night
under a spreading chestnut tree
we were not many
the darkness
somewhere i read a strange, old, rusty tale
in september
