autumn poetry

i love my hour of wind and light
how wild, how witch-like weird that life should be
in all things not spoken of
high walls and huge
sweet and strong
as a white candle
on and on
see, they return
the single clenched fist lifted and ready
old wine to drink
storm
with the sunset
