autumn poetry

he's gone
let a joy keep you
we were not many
splendid and terrible your love
do not turn your head
out of the window a sea of green trees
the body may confine
softly now the light of day
we who stood
glass-blower of time
the fragrance came
i love my life, but not too well
in his guarded tent
