i love you poem

i love the old melodious lays
i burn no incense
listen
we were not many
listen to the sounding sea
why do
in september
the mountains they are silent folk
we lay
look out upon the stars, my love
the smell of the rose so false, the thorns so true
rising moon has hid the stars
truely
