myspace poem

better than granite
i am old and blind
let me move slowly through the street
the light withdrawn
all within and all without me
burly, dozing humble-bee
with the sunset
gaily through the fields we danced
a look is but a ray
i've won the race
for then without
gloom
all my love for my sweet
i have to say good-night
