pastor appreciation poem

as a naked man i go
the shadows of the ships
perhaps
braided and woven
he's gone
sadly speaking
my son is dead and i am going blind
three days i heard them grieve when i lay dead
along the banks
when i returned at sunset
i reside at table mountain
