glooms of the live-oaks
i am singing to you
give me hunger
i said, i have shut my heart
to be able to see every side of every question
quietly, with reverance, in awe
with the sunset
moonlight deep and tender
white foam flower, red flame flower
noises that strive to tear
awful truths these be
