footprint poem

have you heard
out of me unworthy and unknown
a little peach in the orchard grew
simply speaking
bring me soft song
i expect you
they in the darkness gather and ask
thou unrelenting past
rose and amber was the sunset on the river
he came and took me by the hand
a look is but a ray
along a river-side
